Braised Bhindi (Okra or Ladies fingers)
- 8 oz okra - cut into 1/4" lengths
- 1 small onion - finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon chilli masala
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 3 tablespoons corn oil
- salt to taste
- Heat oil in frying pan, then add onions and cook until crisp and
golden.
- Add chilli masala and turmeric, then okra, stir frying for 8-10
minutes. Okra should be slightly crunchy (NOT gluey).
- Add salt to taste and serve immediately.
